Welcome to the new Treasure Keepers Kenya website.

On this website teachings will be posted that are delivered to the pastors who come to the discipleship center located in Ndere, Kenya every month.

Our purpose is to provide a place where the pastors in the interior areas of Kenya can come to gain a deeper understanding of their faith and relationship to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  We do this by using the Authorized KJV Bible which we believe to be the full counsel of God with no changes or omissions.

There is a monthly pastors' meeting in Ndere near Siaya.  We study the word of God and gain encouragement and grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We are not a denomination...we are earnestly contending for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

We also have a women's outreach of Treasure Keepers Kenya called Pikipiki Mamas 4 Jesus.  We are helping the women leaders to become grounded in their faith and in the word of God and then small teams will go out deeper into the interior to reach those women who have been so neglected in learning the word of God.  We ride pikipikis which are hired motorbikes with a driver.

Treasure Keepers Kenya believes we have this "treasure" in earthen vessels and that we must carry it deeply within our hearts so that we can share it with others.  We base this on 2 Corinthians 4:1-7.

The need for discipling pastors was a vision God gave to Mama Jo many years ago.  HE has finally brought it into reality and we are rejoicing to see how the pastors have received it and are now bearing the fruit of stronger ministries and flocks that are growing deeper in the word and are excited about their relationship with Jesus Christ and being citizens of the kingdom of heaven.

Our goal is to ground pastors deeply in the word of God and to see them reaching out to other pastors and leaders and their flocks to share the "treasure" they are carrying; pastors who KNOW that they are carrying the truth and who will stand faithfully for it, not compromising for money or any other gain.

I am called Mama Jo, I have been in Kenya since March 2003.  I am from the U.S. and my given name is Joetta Smith.  I share this vision with Pastor Hosea and his wife, Mama Junior;  together we seek to see God lifted up and glorified in this place.  We appreciate your prayers.  If you want to come to Kenya our door is open.

We know this world is not our home and we are preparing for our eternal home in the kingdom of God.  That is where our treasures are being stored up.

We welcome all pastors who are hungry for the true word and are tired of all the deception that we are seeing in the churches today.  We do warn about deception, but we believe if you are well grounded in the word of God that the Holy Spirit, who guides  us into all truth will alert us to any deception or false teachings.

Feel free to contact us with any questions.  God bless you.
